I also have very sturdy vent louvers which help support the total weight
-
It is not strong enough to support the weight of the Garmin with it jiggling around asI drive.
-
Product wouldn’t support the weight of gps
-
So flimsy it won't support the weight of a DriveSmart GPS, and the clips don't fit the vent vanes on either a 2016 Toyota Highlander or a 2010 Hyundai Sonata -- not exactly exotic vehicles
-
I also tried the product in Toyota Corolla but the vent doesn't support the weight of the NUVI 660.
-
Far too small it will never support the weight of this unit
-
Was just worried it may not work for my 660 because of it's weight and might easily break but the whole mount looks sturdy
-
But it is very brittle and just the weight of the unit was enough stress to break a clip off with normal driving.
-
They are too fragile to support the weight
-
Plus the vents don't support the weight of the GPS
-
The weight of the unit causes it to not work with the vents in my Kia Sportage or my Ford F-250.
-
For the Nuvi I have it works fine, and supports the weight just fine
