Excellent cable modem

Just use a non-cable line like your cell phone.

I've had it for less than a month, but I can say that it was easy to install, my ISP could 'see' it and register it w/o any hiccups, and it works just as well as the cable company's modem that it replaced.

Perfect for fast cable internet in an apartment.

My previous modem ran for years and only replaced it because higher speeds required a faster cable modem

This modem works flawlessly when connected to proper cabling.

Replaces an SB6141 which was not actually defective (cable system had external issues) but I do find I am getting about 10 mbps better downstream speed than before (180mbps vs 170 mbps)

Pros:-Beats paying the cable co $10/month for theirs.-Works, will get you full speeds with most top tier internet plans from most cable companies.-Indicator lights function, during outages it is pretty responsive.-Has a status page you can access locally (always nice for those who know their way around cable systems and admins).Cons:-Expensive for what it is
