Setup was painless; I plugged it in, waited for the lights to go solid, went to comcast.com/activate and went through the activation

We keep the modem and router in our bedroom and the lights aren't too bright that they would disturb your

Obnoxious lights, unable to disable them in software.

The lights seem too bright

It works fine as a cable modem, but the lights are SO BRIGHT it is ridiculous

The harsh blue lights can be turned off in software and made a nice peaceful green

My modem came with the indicator lights disabled

It has this mesh-like outer case which I suppose is to help for cooling, but it also has bright blue lights inside that are brighter than a nightlight.

About one month later the lights on the box went from flashing to totally solid all the time

It emits a bright blue light everywhere!!!

We then called Arris for router naming of network in order to secure Our network with Our own password while disabling blue LED lights

The modem does run a bit hot and the lights on the front, as others have said, are very bright.

Unfortunately the lights can't be turned off, so you'll just have to put it in a room where you don't mind a bright blue light shining at all hours, or find some other way to cover over it without it overheating.

I disabled the lights but there is still a bright yellow LED.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I am forced to have the modem in my bedroom and at night, with the holes all over for airflow, it spreads light all over my walls like a disco.

Ive checked the Download speeds and it seems a taste quicker than the stock Motorola Surfboard that TWC leases,lights are a bit bright but nothing obscene

Arris AC1750 is useless only half my devices see the 5G wifi and the weaker signal sucks even after I messed with the frequencies.

worked better than tm822g
