Unfortunately, after 3 months, I realized an unpleasant burning plastic smell that I'd been noticing for weeks was coming from this modem
-
about a week ago i've noticed a weird chemical smell that smelled like something between BO and burnt plastic
-
It started to give off a bad plastic burning smell, and was very hot to touch
-
The modem worked fine, but gave off a plastic burning smell
-
It emits a burning plastic chemical smell
-
The plastic either inside or out is smoldering like a bad chemical raection
-
Paying for 75mb/s and recieving 120mb/s with this in Nashville, TN.Setup was very easy with comcast / xfinity-1 star because it runs very very hot (the plastic might burn you)This means some percentage of the plastic is likely liquifying or out-gasing and the shiny white color and country of origin leads me to believe there are minor lead out gasings from this device
-
it doesn't bother me as I have a small book in front of it which blocks the light at night (studio apartment).
-
It smells as if there is burning plastic that is emitting a chemical
-
Minimally Qualified” as of 1/12/18 and Spectrum can’t guarantee speed or reliability with this product
-
Good quality and it works as it supposed to.
-
Works great as of 6-29-18
-
Comcast sucks as much money as they can
-
Regardless the cable company is to blame as they chose it
-
P.S. Reminiscing to not too long ago, when 30 mb/s was considered "fast", and now I'm cruising at 30 MB/s...
-
n’t had any issues with this modem/router
