Both began emitting a strange smell after about two weeks of use

My wife and I were trying to identify the odd smell for weeks.

It started to give off a bad plastic burning smell, and was very hot to touch

The customer service rep had the balls to tell me that cable modems having a funny smell is normal

Not only that, but just recently, like others here, I have noticed a horribly funky smell in my room

The foul smell was burnt plastic

No noticeable odd smells as some have reported.

Unfortunately, after 3 months, I realized an unpleasant burning plastic smell that I'd been noticing for weeks was coming from this modem

about a week ago i've noticed a weird chemical smell that smelled like something between BO and burnt plastic

On the forth day there was a slight electronic burning smell omitting from my basement where the modem was located

It emits a burning plastic chemical smell

After three months, it is emitting a strong body odor smell.

This product started smelling like burning plastic

Not only that, but just recently, like others here, I have noticed a horribly funky smell in my room

However in the last few days it has started to overheat and emit a strange smell

However, just this month I couldn't figure out what the terrible burning smell was in my house

Unfortunately after 3 months of use (conveniently outside of manufacture warranty), I began smelling a very bad "Body Odor" type smell by my desk

I smell rat too in addition to a burning smell!

My husband and I spent weeks trying to figure out where this terrible body odor smell was coming from.

Fast forward 8 hours later and going down into the basement to get something and upon opening the door a VERY strong burning smell was now present

It is a wierd smell that smells liike burning and body odor, and it makes me REALLY nervous

P.S. Reminiscing to not too long ago, when 30 mb/s was considered "fast", and now I'm cruising at 30 MB/s...
