Took around 15 minutes with tech support to make sure unit was defective.

This is compatible and would have been perfect unit for me.

The Arris modem may prove to be a good unit, but their customer service is horrible

Installation was easy and the unit appears to work as intended

Much more concerning is the fact that until the unit stopped working, I never looked closely enough at the item upon receipt to realize I was not shipped the correct unit!

So far I can recommend this unit, and if not this one, just get something and quit throwing good money after bad to these cable companies.

I was sent an open, defective unit.

Does NOT drop connection like my prior unit did.

If and when they determined unit was defective and would be replaced under warranty, they would send a replacement in 5 to 10 working days.

After activation and set up, my WiFi showed immediate improvement over my dead unit and over the Spectrum router.

This unit is faster and much more stable than the Comcast rentals which I had to reboot often and they took forever to come up on the system.

The problem wasn't the unit, it was due to a splitter being used in my whole home wiring control panel.

No access to settings, unit is dead.

Not so sure if this one was a bad unit but I am sure it didn't deliver what the manufacturer was promising.

This little guy was great while he lasted, but considering it wasn't 6 months until the issues arised I'd say this unit was absolutely not worth the money for us.

We have replaced this unit with a Netgear CM 500 and it works faster than the SB6183 without any stinky smells!!My two cents!
