Greatest router I ever bought
-
The router is horrible and I had to buy another router and bridge the devices so the wifi signal would be good throughout my house.
-
Comcast did try to say that having my own router might be a problem
-
I highly recommend a firewall/wireless router with this, as it is just a gateway, but it replaces the Comcast gateway thus saving you $10 a month and eventually paying for itself.
-
I purchased this router because the Netgear that I had purchased was breaking up on the incoming phone side
-
How this is considered a 'fast' modem/router, I will never know.
-
I have an excellent ASUS mesh router
-
This is a good router modem
-
So far I love this modem/router more than the actual 1 that was provided by xfinity
-
If you need a Comcast (Xfinity) compatible router this is the one.
-
The best modem router combo ever owned.
-
I would recommend this router to family and friends.
-
My decision included the fact that I already have a great wireless router and did not need that feature, which other Docsis 3.0 modems now include
-
Router has no INbound routing capability and very little user programability
-
working flawlessly so far, no hassles with needing a separate router, works with Xfinity and has increased speed/range of my home network.
-
Solid router/modem
-
This is a very powerful router
-
Because I connected this Arris device to my pre-existing (and slower) wifi router, I just use that older, slower wifi router for wireless
-
Works with Comcast and has been consistent (i.e., not required periodic restarting), but its range is inferior to the stand-alone router it replaced.
-
Does not work reliably as a wifi router
-
Great router- works really well through my entire home.
-
Bufferbloat on this modem is also minimal if you have a router capable of various QoS settings.
-
Not as strong as the netgear router I had.
-
I highly recommend this router for any older router supplying only 2.4ghz wifi.
-
Great router
-
This router works great for our home phone, and internet
