I use it as a preamp to power my AT875R Short Shotgun Microphone and it works great

I recommend it to anybody who's starting their recording career or even just as a hobby, or even to a pro who's looking for an affordable traveling preamp.

I am using this preamp to boost the output of my Novation Twitch, a purpose for which it was never intended

This is a cheap and sturdy preamp that beginners or intermediate experienced people can use

so I wouldn't have to use a USB mic, but I ended up with a great preamp at an awesome price

well I guess thats something you expect for the low price.overall the preamp is pretty clean for what it is, no noticeable noise for average use even when turned up to 40db

In those cases I would recommend recording by USB to a computer as well as to the camera
