I consider myself to an Audiophile and this headset has great sound and good mic quality.

I actually enjoyed it the first 4 months, it had a decent mic and good sound options

the mic creates a buzzing noise and eventually it went out completely to where no one could hear me

Terrible mic, and way too expensive

I dont know why people are saying they sound like the mic is muffled

Pros:-Comfortable-Sound (compared with my old A40)-Adjustable mixamp software-mic is more selective than old setup (less BG noise)Cons:-The mic would cut out on default settings (unless talking unaturally loud), but that was addressed by adjusting the software on the amp via a pc.-The mixamp dosn't like my PS4's rest mode at all

The mic is crazy flexible and really easy to adjust, and get in place wherever you'd like

I also love that the mic is detachable--when I'm playing single player games or even just listening to music, I can just remove it so it isn't in my way

I have also tried the Steelseries Siberias, the Sony Pulse Elite and Golds, Turtle beaches, and the old Astro a50s on PC and PS4.The Siberia's were too tight, I disliked the LCD on the mixamp, the mic was good but had some bleed through into the headset (not sidetone), customer support was disappointing as I contacted them with an issue and did not receive a response

I joined a party with some friends and then realized the mic wasnt working

but Skype is super clear cause the Mic on the a40 is good

and my friends/teammates always tell me my mic is "Crystal clear
