Thus far, the headset and mixamp seem to be working well, but there is one major issue

extremely clear and precise sound when paired with a low interference USB audio DAC, able to achieve fairly decent bass levels and very pronounced highs depending on preset and tuning that you are using, if you have the knowledge to make custom Tunes for the frequency levels you will be able to get the most out of this headset, none the less it is very plug and play friendly with very good built in presets that actually are tuned very well, you can tell they took there time selecting best possible frequency gains and take away for their pre-made sets, currently if I'm not using my custom tune for music, the ASTRO preset works very will for gaming providing accurate positional awareness, so you can stay ahead of the game and beat your opponents, I came to these from HYPER X cloud II's and I have to say this was a very good upgrade I never really saw myself needing something like the MixAmp Pro

In the end i had to return these because of a failed mix-amp and a mediocre headphone.

The more synthesis you introduce, the more the AMP will try to block background noise, so your voices' lower registers may get blocked by software causing not only your voice getting cutoff at the other end, but also a robotic undertone that some my encounter.

I find myself using it all the times, I love how I can change my custom and pre made presets on the fly, and enable and disable the Dolby 7.1 at any point, so far this is one of the best Ive owned

They are recording that people have posted and you can clearly hear what the issues are,People before you get this product do your reseach and go to the Astro gaming forums to see how many people are having issues

(other people have reported it being broken in console mode)

The headphones are open back so you can hear outside and people outside can hear your game easily if its loud enough
