The headphones are not as comfy as the Gold ones.- Has less audio presets in games compared to Gold

This headphones are amazing... love the comfort, the feel, its sounds much better than golds, havent tried out the 3d audio yet as the games supported i do not owned, but other wise for call of duty and every other game they sound amazing .. worth every penny

These headphones are great especially if you are using these for multiplayer games like overwatch

The spacial awareness still works on titles that do not support 3D audio, but not as pronounced as you cannot hear what's above or below you

Functionally these headphones are wonderfull, however they are a bit uncomfortable when worn for extended periods.

Also, my Arctis 7 headset has MUCH better connectivity, it'll work from anywhere in my apartment vs this headset which would cut occasionally at any distance and lose signal completely at about 15ft.

once you step outside 10 feet and lose signal you will have to turn off your headset, then walk over to the playstation to unplug the USB adapter

And finally, when you turn your mic up above "Too Low" in the party chat settings your mic will begin to echo background noise and your voice into a loud continuous loop

The ear cups are shaped in a specific way to fit ears making them only sit one way, the ear cups also have a taper to them so they only seal and block out background noise if they sit that one way

However, as many reviewers pointed out before me, the rubber band instead of the cushion on the top is extremely uncomfortable and leads to a painful experience after wearing this after many hours

have delay in sound control (1 sec) while the Golds will click as fast as you want and these buttons are really cheap feelingwhile the next version may fix the sound feedback that comes from the speakers DIRECTLY back into the mic hopefully they fix the VSS sounds being off.also volume is to low only sounds right on 8 9 or 10I will say these feel very nice on the headIm playing on a PS PRO with the MG28UQ 4K gaming monitor.

Platinum headset: Not comfortable, the rubber band at the top makes my head ache after about 40 minutes.

I have had these for just over a year now and the Dongle just stop working and of course there is no way to replace

They function essentially the same as the Gold edition, down to the hassle-free dongle for connecting to a PS4 or PC

Unlike with the Gold Headset my PC had trouble identifying the Platinum's usb dongle

I believe that the first set I ordered came with the wrong usb dongle.

I lost the dongle, so gave them to my husband to use with an audio cable on his PS3
