It's easier to mute chat volume with Astro A50 as you just have to lift up the boom mic as i find that much faster than reaching back and hitting a dedicated mute button on the Sony Platinum--Battery Life:PS4 platinum has 2-3 times more battery than the

Excellent sound for the price, and great battery life as well.

A quick comparison to the other headsets I've had, the Platinum easily beat out the Gen 2 50s (I got like 4-5 hours on those), but the Siberia 800s on the otherhand have perhaps the greatest battery solution in a headset to date, they use dual, swappable batteries, so you'll literally never plug in your headset, as each battery should last upwards of 10 hours as the other one charges.-I really like the clean design of the Platinums

Doesn't have the battery issue of steel series or the interference issue of the G930 (logitech, really?)The quest for proper headphones continues.

That aside though, the microphone is the worst I have ever came accrossed, its got to a point where I can't even use it with friends because its so bad, every, and I mean EVERY little noise is picked up on the headset, your voice will sound muffled, and it won't be as clear as with those headsets with mic sticks

have delay in sound control (1 sec) while the Golds will click as fast as you want and these buttons are really cheap feelingwhile the next version may fix the sound feedback that comes from the speakers DIRECTLY back into the mic hopefully they fix the VSS sounds being off.also volume is to low only sounds right on 8 9 or 10I will say these feel very nice on the headIm playing on a PS PRO with the MG28UQ 4K gaming monitor.
