PlayStation Platinum Wireless Headset - PlayStation 4

    • Good 3D audio, crisp sound,
    • I would have given it a perfect 10 but it has little support for the proprietary 3D audio and feel it is extremely underutilized for how good it sounds.
    • 3D audio is amazing especially when playing any FPS game
    • The 3d audio is great and make this a strong overall pick but it is worth the price because delivers on all fronts.
    • I'm not sure what the specs would be of the audio being outputted from the USB dongle, but I can say for certain it's not as rich as the audio I was getting from my Astros and Siberias
    • Then, because I paid good money for it, I started using it as a wired headset because that worked fine, which isn't what I bought a wireless headset for, and using the wire doesn't let you enjoy the 3D audio
    • Some cons:-While the audio is decent, it is not as good as the audio quality you'll get in a headset that uses the optical audio port, like the Astros, Siberias, and even the LS40s, as well as many others
    • One other thing to note is that the much-touted 3-D audio is only supported in Uncharted 4, and newer games such as Horizon Zero Dawn or Nioh don't support the feature
    • Uncharted 4, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Red dead redemption audio profiles sound
    • I only used it four or five times before the wireless audio failed me, and only twice with the wire until it failed me
    • 3d audio is wonderful, quality and connection to ps4 is outstanding.
    • The spacial awareness still works on titles that do not support 3D audio, but not as pronounced as you cannot hear what's above or below you
    • love this..audio is great headset
    • Also, the audio is incredibly faulty, which is a huge deal seeing as audio is the primary function of a headset
    • Uncharted 4, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Red dead redemption audio profiles sound
    • Crisp clear audio and better build quality in comparison to the tier below ( Gold wireless headset
    • this will reset it. if you dont do this then your mic will not work, you will have audio but no one will be able to hear you
    • Monster Hunter world also supports 3d audio
    • and I had to switch channels to keep the headphones from dropping and distorting the audio
    • One other thing to note is that the much-touted 3-D audio is only supported in Uncharted 4, and newer games such as Horizon Zero Dawn or Nioh don't support the feature
    • There are a couple of presets for a hand full of certain games that support the undersupported 3D audio
    • But the audio is great A+
    • Great audio and the 3d audio freaked me out the 1st time.
    • Clear Audio- Stays around neck when not in useI usually get 4 - 6 hours of gaming in each day, and it seems to work fine for me
    • Audio still crackles and cuts with the headset losing connection
    • Great audio and the 3d audio freaked me out the 1st time.
    • Some pros:-Good directional audio
    • Chat audio is good and most people say I sound clear though one person said I sounded muffled
    • The audio is clear, I haven't had any complaints with it
    • Great seller A+
    • That aside though, the microphone is the worst I have ever came accrossed, its got to a point where I can't even use it with friends because its so bad, every, and I mean EVERY little noise is picked up on the headset, your voice will sound muffled, and it won't be as clear as with those headsets with mic sticks
    • Cracked in the same spot as my last 2 about an inch above the ear piece where all the pressure is
    • I could deal with hearing an echo of myself - annoying as that may be
    • have delay in sound control (1 sec) while the Golds will click as fast as you want and these buttons are really cheap feelingwhile the next version may fix the sound feedback that comes from the speakers DIRECTLY back into the mic hopefully they fix the VSS sounds being off.also volume is to low only sounds right on 8 9 or 10I will say these feel very nice on the headIm playing on a PS PRO with the MG28UQ 4K gaming monitor.
    • Beautiful 7.1 channel sound that can reach surprisingly high volumes, sturdy (I tend to be a little careless with my electronics, and there has yet to be an issue with these headphones.
    • The fact that it's a Sony headset makes it super appealing as I prefer simplicity
