Only thing he (and some others maybe) did not know is that the standard HDMI cable does not allow framerates above 60, so make sure you use the right display cable.

Stand and display are sturdy and rotate easily for a variety of different setups you may want to use

The Display is very Vibrant and 144hz makes a huge difference especially in Overwatch.

The display is very clear and is especially great in light rooms due to the matte finish

Crisp, buttery-smooth display, love the mount, and sometimes the tools come in handy

The price is great for a 144hz monitor and the display is stellar once it's set up to be

Very obviously made for gaming, but excellent as just a desktop display as well

Crystal clear, most TN panels have a coarse AG, not this one, not as clear as a glossy display, though awfully close

I've had this monitor for about a year now and unfortunately the display port no longer works on it

Here’s the bad: TFT display is lackluster at best compared to much newer display technology of today

Amazing and outstanding display

This display really flatters a really good video card and the higher-visuals games with well optimized multiplayer and with heavy and smooth particle effects like Overwatch, HoTS, BF4, BF1, or Dota 2

That being said, with the functionality of a blue light filter (does WONDERS for the eyes), on screen crosshairs (helpful for when you get EMPed! ;) ) and a very fast response time with a beautiful display, I'd say it's certainly worth it, and the best computer monitor for the price

My previous monitor was an older lcd, with a somewhat lifeless display

That aside, it's a good quality display with all the typical offerings (built in display adjustments)

If you work with photo shop or other applications and need precise color display then I wouldn't recommend this monitor, it was specifically for gaming for me

It has a good I/O, and the colors are pretty good too.

The colors as vivid, clear, and sharp as I'd expect (though nothing really special),

The reflective plastic that the stand is made of is easy to scratch and annoying as it takes up space but can't be used to place things on

Very confused as to why reviews advise me to buy a dvi cord because it came with one

Would definitely recommend as it is fairly cheaper for a 144hz, 24 inch monitor, but still offers the same quality, if you can get the framerate for it.

After that, I played lots of competitive matches and worked to improve as much as I could

And even after extensive color calibration it won't look nearly as good as even a low-end IPS
