Loud, drive tray gets stuck after first few months of use

However, in my opinion, the tray seems a little unstable when fully extended, suggesting that the assembly isn't very sturdy.

- it seems DVD drives have a pre-determined life of 'not very long' To me, few things are more frustrating than the stupid tray not opening!

They were the top selling +R media on Amazon, thought new drive + new disks would equal success.

I still need to rip some old CDs and install a couple things via CD, and it works as it should

it makes so much noise when starting to spin up, it is absolutely heart aching as you will think that it is broken and not wanting to spin up and do its job after a few seconds, it does quiet down and perform

it's a little slow but works as it suppose to.
