That said this box works awesomely well

The mesh started working well with the RT-AC88U as the parent router

Have had really good WiFi connections and works like a champ.

I added the fan, router has been working very stable.

My Asus rt a 3200 worked well until the firmware update for security was applied

I’ll have to do some research on some of it’s more advanced settings but the default are working great for now,

I purchased this router to replace another router that failed almost immediately, I am pleased with the way this router works, strong, reliable, and just keeps on performing.

I also love having one WiFi network again that works for both 2.4 and 5GHz.

Purchased this router on 1 August- worked well until 29 September when it suddenly stopped working; no power outages, storms, etc

Asus is doing amazing work with their routers, especially when it comes to keeping them updated

Just like a reviewer noted in July 2018, my router stopped working and the red light is on meaning WAN port not working

This one works great, has excellent range and 8 ethernet ports

Apparently, this is common problem, both 2.4GHz, and 5GHz would disappear (cannot be found at all), reboot works for a while, then it gets worse and worse

So far it has been working great, and I love the IPS/IDS functionality.

2.4G worked fine

Shipment came in great, router worked great for a couple weeks and then the 2.4ghz just stopped broadcasting

Everything seemed to be working well with most of my devices on the 2.4 ghz channel.

Even the phone app for managing Asus routers works great.

The multiple bands work perfect with all the devices i have and had eliminated any slowdowns from network transfer

So I RESET the router, and then input my new SSID and password and, voila, the 2.4 GHz band started connecting to all of my devices and all has worked well ever since.

It was working well first 18 months but since then, it drops wifi constantly

Had to return first one, new one works great, easy to setup

Tri-band setting could still use some work, but otherwise easy to setup out of the box and get your whole home smothered in quick wifi.

Stay away until all the bugs are worked

It was working PERFECT for the last 9 months and now it has been dropping the internet connection every 2 to 3 days and won't work until I reboot it

I am very disappointed that I paid over 230 dollars for this brand new modem and it is faulty and longer works in less than six months.

When I received the router I hooked it up and right away it was working very well.

The dual band WiFi works great with outstanding coverage in my 3764 sqft house.

Told them this was unacceptable and they are currently working to get a new unit out faster... will update this review at that time.

Devices with dual-band capability switched to 5 and kept working but others with 2.4 only died.

i've found a configuration that at least for my particular router works great.

2.4ghz worked for one night then died

But the most basic feature (connect at 2.4 GHz frequency) randomly fails (5 GHz always worked)

So far all have worked great.

Range is better than the Asus and works perfect with Apple Air play, my Denon receiver, and every other device we have.

I did however try the smart connect features which again is one of those things that sounds great on paper but works terrible in practice.

We are using this router at our business in a metal building and it is working great.

also no there is no interference by my router i love this set up ,, i will leave the links of the switch and cables i bought from here also everything is working very good so far i will update this as i go

I did some speed tests and everything appeared to be working great.

I plugged my older asus router back in which I've never had issues with and everything worked again...sending this back for refund.

The 5 GHz band worked just fine, but I have several devices that only work on the 2.4 GHz band, so that was a problem.

That being said...I should not have to do that to get a reliably working
