I know there are a lot of other expensive AC dual-band routers as well but this one serves its purpose for a small to mid-size apartments at an much more reasonable price.

I bought this router because it was gigabit (needed for my home network), was dual band, and supported the newer wireless AC.With this router, I am able to transfer wireless from my laptop to a network folder on my desktop computer at rates of about 300 Mb/s

range in my house has been extended, I am receiving my max allotted speeds, low latency, and I love using the 5GHz band on my lower level where the router is located

I'm not sure if 2 antennas support the 2.4Ghz band and 2 support the 5Ghz band, but I did send ASUS an email and will update you on their response

After I got this, my internet speeds have greatly increased thanks for the 5GHz bands available in this router

The 5G band is a godsend, as there seems to be a lot of 2G interference in the condo
