I bought this router because it was gigabit (needed for my home network), was dual band, and supported the newer wireless AC.With this router, I am able to transfer wireless from my laptop to a network folder on my desktop computer at rates of about 300 Mb/s

range in my house has been extended, I am receiving my max allotted speeds, low latency, and I love using the 5GHz band on my lower level where the router is located

I'm not sure if 2 antennas support the 2.4Ghz band and 2 support the 5Ghz band, but I did send ASUS an email and will update you on their response
