It's good performance.

Replaced 3 year old 30$ Netgear, expecting much better performance, other than having 5g frequency it is not quite as good as the old Netgear
-
Based on the reviews I was expecting impressive performance, and this router delivered
-
Did not improve my performance, so returned it
-
and I've gone so far as to reinstall several of them with projects like Tomato and DD-WRT in hopes of getting better performance and features out of them, but my home network has always suffered

Fast, reliable performance.

Here is my use case for this router:I am replacing a ten-year old D-Link WBR-1310 router for my in-laws, who got predictably horrible performance in their split level ranch house

However, installing DD-WRT greatly improved the performance of the router, and I have not had trouble since.

If you are in the market for something affordable with good performance I would definitely recommend giving this one a try.

The router's OS has a ton of features; although, I guarantee using too many of the add-on features at the same time will impact performance

Amazing performance

It's fairly stylish, performance and reliability are excellent for its price, and the included firmware is very feature-rich for a stock firmware

My usage is for a home network, somewhat simpler than most applications, but I wanted up to date operations and good performance for TV, phone, and computer Wi-Fi connections - better than my old router which had limited speed and range by comparison.
-
but the range isn't as great as I would've imagined
-
2.4 band just as weak as the 5GHZ.
-
Setup was easy and fast, range exceeds the old N but not by much but the transfer
