The set-up was easy, and it has great range and signal strength.
-
However, when using the 5GHz, the range is VERY poor, -80dBm with 2 walls in between at any point (less than 10 meters/33 feet distance), and hence my 4 stars
-
Good range.

-
Had great speeds and range, but literally less than 24 hours later this unit was dead.
-
It's super fast for what I need it for, streaming videos and playing video games (MMO's) doing massive downloads the only down side is that the 5G bandwidth has such a short range but the 2G still exceeds what my needs are
-
The range is pretty good, it covers my whole
-
range is not as good as I thought it would be but set up was easy
-
GOOD VALUE AND GOOD RANGE.

my 12 year old Linksys WRT54G. Seems like the range isn't that far for the 2.54 Ghz band

The router is easy to setup and the range is fabulous.

Easy to use and I get consistent 160mbps wifi and hard wired with a good range

Was needing more range to reach extender outside house and didn't quite make it but still not a bad range inside house
-
Good range, it routs just fine, but too damn complicated and dare I say overly so.?!
-
Wonderful router, set it up with my phone and it has great range
-
Very good range.
-
The range is very dependable, my house is 3500ft² and I have decent signal to the middle of the street

Fast, a lot of throughput, easy to setup, wifi good long range performance, etc
-
Great range and never needs rebooted

This has a very good range, but it is very slow.

Excellent range and easy setup./

And it has good range I might add.
-
The range is great
-
It has pretty good range, even with the 5G setting.
-
Wifi works fast with good range
-
Excellent range, lot of customizable features
-
Completely inconsistent speeds, and range is terrible
-
good value router, but range is not exceptionally good at 5ghz.if house/flat you are going to be using it in, is less than 2000sqft and you are going to be able to place this at a central location it would do the job without any speed drops.
-
I originally bought the Asus AC750 with two antennas but the range was not as great as I had expected
-
My old ASUS RT-ACRH13 had weak range
-
awesome router, great range
-
My only complaint is the range seems worse that my super old d link it's replacing
-
It has good range and all the basic features you expect from a router
-
Great wifi range, great band width!
-
So the range is a concern
-
This router has a web interface that feels modern and responsive, IPv6 works great withouthaving to flash third party firmware, it's affordable, and it has enough range to check email not just anywhere in the house but across the street in my neighbor's driveway
-
Was looking for a new router with better range and up to date AC wireless technology as well as being stable
-
but the range is not very good at all.
-
Good range, Great value.
-
Great range
-
Wow this router has some mad range
-
This one has a good range and can easily handle 20+ devices connected at the same time
-
The range seems a bit better as well.
-
Good range.
-
Network range for 5 GHz is not that great across a single brick wall
-
Extremely easy to setup - Has great range throughout my apartment - The interface to change the settings from default factory programming was extremely user friendly in my opinion
-
Good range.
-
It's range is excellent.
-
It's range is unbeatable
-
Range is great, I've got a high end gaming rig, that has not lost connection or dropped obvious frames in the 12 months I've been running it
-
The range is lacking
-
I noticed that different model reviews are mixed together ranging from 802.11N to 802.11AC routers, hence qualifying this.1
-
Range and wifi data speed were greatly improved compared to my older linksys router.
-
Picked the wrong model, or maybe got a bad one, regarding the range, but its nearly useless.
-
really good 2.4g range and speed with 10 devices running at same time but for 5
-
great range!
-
Great range and high speeds
-
It's got better range than the $300 Apple router it replaced and has been incredibly reliable
-
Great value, very good range.
-
I am giving this 2 stars because, in all fairness, it does have a good range and speed and most people won't notice or care about the IPv6 issues.
-
Great range and more features then most people will ever use.
-
The range on this router is excellent.
-
Incredible range, allowed me to get rid of my range extender.
-
Good range~
-
it has great range
-
Very good range
-
Range isn't great.
-
Easy set up and has good range.
-
The router I replaced had better range but devices kept falling off the network which was annoying.
-
works really and has a great range
-
These Antennas Are A Joke; the 5 year old D-Link Router didn't even have external antennas, and it actually had better range
-
Very good range
-
Lousy range, totally non-intuitive setup and DOES NOT RUN
-
is, well, 2.4 - much slower but slightly better range...
-
Wireless range is pretty good too
-
Pros- Excellent range- Speeds as
-
Good range with minimal speed drop.
-
Great range through out the house and even outside.
-
my cable wifi router had poor range, this works in the rooms where the other would not.
-
is, well, 2.4 - much slower but slightly better range...
-
Easy to set up...range is not the best but good enough for my house.
-
OK router, good build quality, range and wireless performance
-
The range is solid, it won't reach the whole neighborhood, but I have mine in a terrible location, and it fills the whole house with a strong signal.-Signal
-
This has good range and is fast
-
Range works great in 5,000sq ft home
-
Good range, but no IPv6 with Xfinity(and maybe other ISPs) and frequent locksPros
-
Great antennas, impressive range, fast internet
-
This is in the media / coat closet in the corner of the first floor and I get crazy range and speed compared to my old ASUS RT-ACRH13
-
After some hassle in getting this setup, the range was worse than my old router
-
Exactly what I wanted, and in a decent price range
-
Router is solid, great range.
-
5ghz band is does not have enough range.
-
The 5Ghz range is good
-
This also extended the range of my old router by about 20 feet (IE I would lose wifi signal in my garage with my old router, now I have 3 bars constant in the same location)
-
My only gripe so far is that the range on the 5GHz band doesn't seem too great
-
but the range isn't as good as I thought it would be
-
Solid router, the range is pretty good , you might have problems if it's a 2 story building, but for the price you can't beat it !
-
Range and throughput are both very good, even through walls and floors
-
but the range isn't as great as I would've imagined
-
2.4 band just as weak as the 5GHZ.
-
Setup was easy and fast, range exceeds the old N but not by much but the transfer
-
I switched to this and within minutes I am getting strong 5g signal throughout the house
-
You simply hit apply after entering the information you want to change and poof, both 2.4 and 5 G WIFI available to all my devices.
-
bad speed, 5g don't work.
-
Overall, the 5G is really fast, and the settings for both area networks are easily customization on ASUS' router pages
-
The 5G is limited to the room the router is in
-
really good 2.4g range and speed with 10 devices running at same time but for 5
-
However; after about two weeks the 5G stopped working.
-
Great so far with good 2g range and about the 5ghz range you'd expect in a long house with lots of walls in the way of the signal
-
2 G still works OK.
-
Pretty fast and stable with strong 5G signal throughout the house
-
I will need to buy a new wireless adapter because it only supports 2G
-
The 5g is seriously lacking in distance but that is also a factor of placement and distance, but its not any better than any of the others that I have used
-
I disabled the 2.5G for a few reason
-
Wireless speeds are fantastic (using 5g almost exclusively)
-
5G is unstable, either becomes slow or disappears from wifi list
