When it did work the connection would often drop

i get about 15 feet before I lose connection.

Then all a sudden the 2.4GHZ connection stopped working

My ring doorbell used to work perfect with all the alerts to my phone and live video.. now no connection.. and my printer

The hub portion continues to work for locally connected machines but no connection outside the hub.

This router replaced a Netgear Nighthawk x6 r8000, besides this router being night and day faster paired with this WiFi Adapter, the connection was quite a bit more stable

I bought this router (RT-AC88U) to replace an Asus RT-AC68U. Main reasons were to get greater signal range and stronger connection for WiFi calling on my cell phone
