Also of note, but independent from the above, is that if you happen to like MAC filtering, then you should know that any time you add a MAC address to the router's table, be it for static DHCP assignment for wired connections (almost nobody supports filters for wired, this does not, you can only assign static IP's for wired but not keep wired devices off the network) or for MAC filtering on wireless, to help manually assign devices to each of the three radios (and for the guest networks), the router will behave erratically on any wireless connection (even if you were only adding or removing MAC's from the wired list) until you power cycle it

As far as I see, there is no way to log onto a VPN service to hide my IP, such as PureVPN.Super expensive and unnecessarily expensive for most people.

So I still have to type in the archaic IP address 192.168.1.1 to get to the page to set up the router.2

No matter, the DHCP routing table has a "offline devices" menu to pick the old Xbox MAC address off the history to designate for static IP.
