Tried a 30-30-30 reset without successI researched in internet and very people has the same problems, I conclude that is a design problem

Other people with the same problem report Asus' tech support to be non-existent

If you read the forums, many people are experiencing problems with connections dropping, ssids disappearing, etc.

Do a google search for "asus router overheating" and you'll see that other people also have overheating issues with these routers since they lack adequate case ventilation

they are very polite and nice people but totally inept

I made sure to do a firmware update since I noticed people had a issue with router

I was very excited to receive this router and although it appeared some people were having issues I decided I'd give it a try

Many of the radio issues people are saying related to no IP, I can attest to...if I leave the router running too long without a reboot it will happen.

It seems like people pay for external antennas without looking at the product

I would give it 5 stars if I wasn't having the same issue as so many other people where the 5g drops as in no SSID broadcasted or if available very unstable at random times requiring a restart

but this product deserves it so that other people will not have the same problems.

We have a ton of stuff on our network as well 4 people worth of phones, each with a laptop, 2 echo's 2 google homes, 10 hue lights 4 belkin switches a printer, xbox and a few more

All you people bashing this have one thing in common, you know nothing about network interface

I'm assuming it's a hardware failure as other people online have had this problem.

Clearly, some people have issues unrelated to this router and unjustifiably blame the router.
