Easy setup and fast speeds

The Asus router solved all the issues I had with wi-fi signal and the speed is so much better

Plenty of settings internally, and I get good speeds thoughout my house.

Among their favorites were: possibly too many devices on the wifi, the wifi is only as fast as the slowest device on the network, your equipment may be too old (uh, no…), possibly too many nearby neighbors with wifi, and the go-to escape clause: speeds are only guaranteed over Ethernet

They are extremely easy to setup and offer great coverage and excellent speeds

This router was great after first installation (as all technology is out of the box).The speeds were great and the wifi reached the entire household

If you just need good wifi in a large space with good speeds then this unit is okay

The router works well in the house and has good speed as much as 20mbps to a user download and as much as 6mbps upload

We also found unreliable speeds on both 2.4 and 5GHz networks

We have AT&T Gigabit and the Asus RT-AC3200 had the best speeds in the home and second best outside.

All devices which need to communicate must run at the slowest speed among them.

To get really great speeds you need to be able to match the wireless mode (AC), bandwidth (Hz), and also modulation scheme (NitroQAM/1024-QAM)

The bandwidth limiter feature is very nice, I can limit the internet speed of an individual device so that it doesn't hog all the bandwidth.

After getting gigabit Internet at home I decided to update the firmware and try again so I could take advantage of the (theoretically) faster speeds on the 5GHZ

Speed wise it seems to have no issues at all handling a mixture of around 40 wired and wireless devices.

In such cases, just split them up manually and set the channel band to 40Mhz, this should boost up your speeds a bit as well

But the speed is astounding.

I just wanted to have wifi internet through a router with decent speeds and I went to this router thinking that it was one of the best choices at the moment, but it just does not work

The main problem, as is stated in many other reviews is that the 'auto' function will assign the router to a channel that will conflict with other routers in the area, like your neighbors, and limit the speed

The speed and range of this router are phenomenally better than any of the other router's I have had
