At some point I may add another to make it a mesh system for better coverage outside the house.

I was hoping this would boost coverage, but it is a no go.

It's really fast and its wireless coverage is exceptional

The AC5300 is very capable of handling our combined traffic of Smart phones, TVs, tablets, computers, and other IoT devices, but has to be located in a wiring closet in one corner of the house and does not provide consistent WiFi coverage for the entire house.

Coverage was spotty and eventually we noticed that our devices were connecting to the bedroom RT-

Strong signal and it seems to have improved my coverage in the house

(and I seem to be on a never-ending quest for better coverage) but it’s giant honking gorilla of a thing.

I also have way better coverage now than I did previously.

It has 3 reliable WiFi bands, good coverage, ample ports, and many options that allow expert configuration to optimize how you use this router.

I bought this not only for gaming but also to improve wifi coverage in my home.

Added 2 more of the other routers for half the cost and got great mesh coverage.

This one has the best coverage of any router I’ve ever

The coverage was not any better than my R7000.

you are required to send the unit in for "repair"the unit does give out fast transmission speeds and has good coverage.....when it works.customer support is non existent.

Coverage is great throughout the neighborhood and this thing is loaded with features and options.

The Netgear router I had before this one had better coverage
