ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 8GB ROG Strix Graphics Card (STRIX-GTX1080-A8G-GAMING)

    • I tried overclocking a bit, and it worked just fine, but I haven't found a game that it couldn't handle without overclocking, so I don't bother to actually use it.
    • I haven't had any problems with the hardware or software, and it has destroyed every game I've thrown at it so far (playing in 2k 1440p on a 144hz monitor).
    • Most games at 1080p are well over 100FPs, and 1440P
    • Disabling the 60 fps cap for both games in the ini files make the games run super smooth getting fps from 70 to 90
    • I purchased this over a year ago when it came with a free game
    • Free game codes may not work internationally
    • I really like the ASUS GPUTweak II software; it makes it really easy for me to set up custom fan curves and overclocking profiles for any temperature problems, make the video cards run differently for different games, or just quickly click to go from "Silent" to "Gaming".One card has proven to be pretty sturdy at handling any game I throw at it at full settings using 1080p--however, I'm running 2 in SLI,
    • I don't get a free game with it ???
    • It's kills any game I throw at it, but it coilwhines likes crazy
    • I'm an avid gamer
    • Unfortunately, I did not realize that Amazon was not participating in the NVidia free game promotion (only Amazon Canada is), so I'm SOL on the free Ghost Recon game
    • i just love like my games are right now thanks
    • I didnt test the temps when playing Battlefield 1, but I can say the game was beautiful and buttery smooth
    • Other than the free game (finds it boring), everything is perfect!
    • My only wish is that I had waited a week and got my hands on some free games from Nvidia.
    • any game from 3 years ago a solid 60. and any modern game around 30.
    • above on 2560x1080).And other games such as Batman Arkham Knight, Far Cry 4, Battlefield 4, Rise of Tomb Raider - on default
    • Right now, some games suffer from low FPS and unstable graphics
    • You have to go to a competitor to get the free game through NVidia.
    • I play games like the Witcher 3 and Overwatch on Ultra settings (1440/144Hz) and have never dipped under 60FPS
    • An Nvidia 1070 can handle most games at 1440p, but really struggles with 2160p
    • im not in USA so send it back is very expensive :( from my country.but not everything is bad, the PRO thing is that all the games i own runs nice, i play whit headphones so when im not playing i have do deal whit the noise :(
    • Even at the stock clock speeds most games run perfectly smooth for me on 1440p monitor.
    • I have it clocked to 1950-2050 depending on the use case, and it utterly destroys games in 4k.- Battlefield 1 - rock-solid 60fps with everything max, actual 4k (no downsampling)- Titanfall 2 - an average of 70fps with everything on max, actual 4k (no downsampling)- Overwatch - near 100fps with everything on max, actual 4k (no downsampling)etc
    • However, the same product sold in newegg comes with a free game (either For Honor or Ghost Recon)
    • The most resource intense game I've played lately is ARK
    • this is God like have not found a single game that this cant run your amazing asus
    • Aalthough I personally prefer MSI Afterburner, this again is part of the advertised function, and it works as it should making setup faster and easier
