ASUS MB169B+ 15.6" Full HD 1920x1080 IPS USB Portable Monitor

    • I'd recommend getting the latest drivers from DisplayLink.com directly, in which case you'd only need to use the included CD (or the newer version of the software available on ASUS' website) if you want the display orientation to automatically rotate when you physically rotate the display.
    • The item worked right out of the box after installing the appropriate software which is good.
    • Whether it was a faulty product or faulty software, I was never able to get the display to work.
    • It's hard wrapping hardware and software around someone else's product because product software constantly changes; my company did this with an add-on to Outlook, and it is a support nightmare.
    • The software that comes with them is very easy to set up, and once you do, you can just use your Windows display settings to rearrange them as you like
    • When the computer boots up, I receive an error message stating that the software for the monitor is incompatible with my USB 3.0 drivers.
    • The EZlink software doesn't work.
    • Software works well on Windows 10 in portrait and landscape modes
    • Apple's latest update to MacOS has broken the display driver software
    • Software loaded but crashed when executing due to a C++ run time exception
    • The bad:I work in IT, and the software for this product is just terrible
    • The only annoyance is the software has a flaw that makes the adaptive brightness and brightness buttons totally pointless--they don't work at all
    • but honestly if this doesn't work the second you have installed the drivers (displaylink and the ASUS crap driver that crashed one of the computers I tried this on, I fixed the issue with that computer uninstalled all related software)
    • All three of my Alienware laptops refused to work with the Asus Displaylink software, the monitor itself displayed and functioned, but the brightness control was locked behind a proprietary software that refused to install.
    • I downloaded the software and it worked immediately and flawlessly with my Win 10 and
    • I'm a software engineer who works remotely, so sometimes I'm at a kitchen table, a normal desk, a recliner/rocking chair, a hammock, a boat, etc
    • There is some software on the disk that allows you to use the auto-rotate feature of this screen, and as of right now, this software doesn't work with Windows 10.
    • Software doesn't work with current Windows 10 OS.
    • Don't make the same mistake!S
    • I am a digital nomad and I work as s
    • It doesn't have a "cheap-o" feel
    • Never as wide as you'd like, but comparable to most laptop screens (and actually even better than my ACER).I'm really
    • The image quality is adequate for our work as well as if we watch a movie.
    • If you are that worried about it being as perfect as
    • One other note, and this is something I found out via trial and error as I could not find any information on this monitor with regard how to replace a lost or damaged cable
    • I use this when I travel as well as at home with laptop
    • No light bleed around edges as I expected based on other reviews.
    • I gave it a 3 because the cable that is provided fits loosely and continues to disconnect-extremely frustrating as it also resizes my laptop screen.
    • Overall bad experience on this one - both on product itself as well as with ASUS customer service.
    • The colors are not as rich as on my main display, but nothing to gripe about unless you are doing photo editing
    • I can finally travel anywhere and be just as productive as in my office
    • This thing often falls off as it is very flimsy to use and can only be used on a hard, level surface.
    • In portrait orientation it looks exactly as good as in landscape
