After some research and discovering Access Point mode and the ethernet backhaul feature available on these routers, I decided to give these a try

I ensured the latest firmware was installed and changed multiple channels, changed multiple Freq's and even disabled multiple features to try and troubleshoot the issue.

But if you want something with any useful features, pick a different one.

Was easy to set up, has amazing range and great features

The features are pretty nice too for this setup, it's so easy to configure any Asus router period

It also shows which features will be disabled if you don't agree to letting TM crawl through your data.
