Asus ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 AX11000 Tri-Band 10 Gigabit WiFi Router, Aiprotection Lifetime Security by Trend Micro, Aimesh Compatible for Mesh WIFI System, Next-Gen Wifi 6, Wireless 802.11Ax, 4x Giga

    • And VERY long range signal and very fast
    • Constantly disconnecting from my devices, but has good range
    • The range on this is fantastic, my house isn't too big but in locations where I would get 1 bar of reception before, now I get full bars
    • After setting all of this up, we are now more than fully blanketed with WiFi throughout our house, and even have excellent 2.4Ghz range outside on our driveway for when we watch movies outside under the stars :
    • The range is nice, there's a whole extra router of course
    • their range is disappointing, network is constantly dropping
    • The thing looks like a beast once assembled, and with all the antennas I was expecting fantastic signal strength, but the range wasnt any better than our older Cisco Linksys 2500 System.
    • Excellent range, a functional app interface and lifetime security features
    • Seamless wifi handoff between routers and great range!
    • (kill me now)Which is a shame because the Wi-Fi network is great the router speed is fantastic, and with my 2 old routers as nodes in a mesh the range is insane!
    • The range is abysmal, likely because the antenna are garbage
    • Terrific range and signal with this router.
    • AiMesh allows us to buy new and the latest, feature rich router and turn that into new router then use older routers to be satellite node to cover better range of house
    • so range is great.
    • I wanted something with WiFi 6, great range, and most importantly QoS. I don't really need a mesh system as my home size doesn't warrant it
    • Range is not as good as 6300ac but its still good.
    • WiFi signal range is good but not radically better than the high quality Dlink router it replaced
    • It support to 802.11AX.It give to very fast and wide range
    • The wifi signal range and speed is just mind blowing
    • 0% with AC5300.The range in my home is great, reaches everywhere
    • Once I installed an ax card my wireless connection was 450mb/s on a 1gb/s line with great range
    • A very solid router with great range
    • (original review)The range isn’t great
    • I bought this router in hopes of getting the best range and throughput,
    • Range could possibly improve if the antenna would actually stay up
    • Maybe I just got a bad device, but after all that trouble and knowing that I would never be able to keep a dfs channel stabling broadcasted in my current house, I decided to return it and am now using something that supports the 52-64 dfs channel range from a different brand
    • Was easy to set up, has amazing range and great features
    • AImesh is a sounds good on paper but is unstable, likely because of the poor range on these
    • Easy to set up, speed is faster than my old Apple modem, range is very good
    • Those things dropped connections, range was decent, but have an issue with WIFI 6 and WIFI 5 devices connected to it at the same time
    • Range is great as well
    • Bad range
    • Range is excellent and something I think Asus does exceptionally well in general.
    • But the problem with that is it had terrible range
    • The WiFi range on this is much better then your average $200 router
    • Ridiculous range on both 2.4 and 5.0
    • EDIT September 15th 2020: went back to dropping connections and having a weak range
    • In fact, making ANY changes to the default LAN settings (eg, restricting the DHCP address range, adding DHCP reservations) breaks DNS
    • The moment I hooked it up, the signal was vastly improved (stronger=> all devices have all bars in home; wider range=> connection 120 ft away; faster=> 6 phones, 2 echos, Nvidia Sheild TV, 3 Firesticks, PS4, 2 4K TV's, 3 computers, and doesn't miss a beat!
    • Also the range isn't that great either
    • Other cheapo routers offer better range
    • Works great!A separate channel for gaming, 2.4g for house tech with crazy range, and the wifi 6 channel for the phones with dl speeds of 600+ Mbps
    • It lacks a
    • Not quite as blazing fast as I was hoping for, but it's a drastic improvement
    • My 2G band speeds tanked after the update and doing the factory reset fixed it
    • Secondly, connecting thru 2.5G port worked really good, and was fairly easy to setup
    • b/g/n/ac (no ax) or ax only
    • So the AX radio 5G-2 leaves much to be desired.
