Unfortunately, my experience has not left me thinking that this is the best gaming router (or router period).While setup was easy and I got it up and running quickly, there are two major problems

To start with this AX6100 combo (two AX92U's) is probably one of the best mesh setups I have configured

The setup was quite easy (as long as you start aimesh setup from scretch and follow the step-by-step instructions).Unfortunately, Merlin custom firmware doesn't (and won't) support this router; however, I know that ASUS team is working on the release candidate firmware for Aimesh v.2, which will finally allow proper guest connections from nodes (not just from the master).

know what some people are taking about regarding a complicated setup

I contacted customer support thinking it would be something to do with the setup and the level one support walked me through the standard trouble shooting and recommended setup and they worsen the connection from the default factory settings

Excellent triband wifi 6 router for small house or apartment if you use it as single or main router, easy setup thru app or web,Also with mesh capability if you want to add another unit for better coverage in big houses, but that means wifi 6 channel will be use to communicate with the other unit
