Very strong signal and very high speed.
-
Kids are living the new speeds for gaming and streaming videos is super fast.
-
But it's a dual band, lacks VPN fusion feature and theoretical speed
-
I haven't had a single issue with these, the devices carry over 100% seamlessly from node to node, the speed is incredible and I honestly can't picture ever going back to a single router setup
-
almost every channel band is available, except of course for the one range I need to be able to obtain full ax speeds in my area
-
I get fast wifi speeds close to the router.

and the speed was terrible.
-
Best wifi speed bar none.
-
Great router, adds significant speeds to both AC and the new AX standards, and appreciate the frequent updates from ASUS to keep it current and secure.
-
This is the setup I used when I achieved the fastest speeds in speed tests, I tried virtually every
-
You will not get optimal speeds with that feature enabled
-
Awesome speeds for those channels (two 5GHz).The router has many cool features including 160hz channels and 2.5GB Ethernet if that makes a difference to you and has a plethora of awesome things you can control
-
I have mine configured in a single SID and choose the best connection speed for the device
-
The speed of this delivery is astonishing
-
I bought a Google Nest mesh router, and that has worked great, with faster WiFi speeds than the Asus.
-
Coverage is by far better than my old one and the speeds are great.
-
I purchased about 5 years earlier which started having odd issues now and then that would be fixed with a reboot, and a problem I later found was any ASUS router QOS throttles connection speeds to 600mb/s and has to be disabled to get better speeds.
-
What I received is less coverage and slower speeds
-
The Asus routers that are compatible with the Asus AI mesh set up make a really nice home system with a couple routers set up in a 3000 square-foot house the coverage is spectacular and the speeds are awesome
-
and I ended up getting slower speeds and more difficulty
-
This product has an upside which is great speed from the router
-
I use this one for low speed devices like Nest, printer, Wi-Fi enables scale, ect
-
None gave me as good signal and as good constant speed as this did.
-
I get good speeds from it, and it doesn't lock up or crash
-
Upgraded internet speed
-
getting way slower speed test results after the switch and weak signals compared to Linksys ac3000/ac1900
-
So now my Galaxy S10 is connected using WiFi 6 and WPA3 for the best speed and security available
-
My AC 2x2 phone gets decent speed outside of my house and even down the
-
The speed is phenomenal!
-
While asus does give some good control over smart connect, you can create all sorts of custom rules for when a device connects to which band, I like being able to know which one I'm connecting to if my device supports the fastest speed
-
The link between the two routers is stable, and the speed is superb
-
I am having constant network drops, slow speeds.
-
All of our devices for a 4 adult household have been seeing much improved speed, as well as, signal strength
-
Awesome speed
-
So in theory it is possible to achieve around 1.02 Gbps on my fastest 1.7 Gbps link and between 720 Mbps-1.44 Gbps on a 2.4 gbps link (hence why I wanted the aggregate wan link to work, because a single cat5e uplink will limit my internet speeds to ~940 Mbps)
-
People say it hurts your wifi speeds and it's possible, but this didn't for us
-
Overall, weeks later I still love the router, the incredibly snappy firmware interface and the speed.

Overall, weeks later I still love the router, the incredibly snappy firmware interface and the speed.
-
Based on all the information at hand, I expected better wifi coverage from more antennas and better hardware as well as possibly faster speeds from better connectivity, as I wasn't getting nearly all the bandwidth the 802.11ac spec is capable of (though I understand it's a theoretical limit).
-
In the back yard, approximately 20ft from the house, my speeds were deplorable and I chalked it up to attenuation due to paying through solid objects
-
Easy to set up, speed is faster than my old Apple modem, range is very good
-
However to ensure the two MESH devices have great connection and speed, they added the WiFi 6 chips in their routers so that the two can use the additional bandwidth provided
-
The speed did seem good
-
Get even worst speed when on Satellite connection
-
The 2.4GHz will reach many places and did work downstairs including Into the garage but with speeds very poor (like 2.4Mb p/s) and the 5GHz did not reach
-
Has drastically improved coverage and speed in our home.
-
and now it’s not even giving me enough speed to browse
-
Slow speed on LAN 2.4GHZ band13
-
, I get faster speed 10+ MB/s download speeds
-
I love the USB3 data transfer speeds
-
The speed would work for basic internet in the garage but unfortunately the 2.4 would drop out every few days leaving all connections in limbo
-
I’ve tried everything, and nothing will boost this speed
-
Unfortunately, speeds are extremely inconsistent and I can't figure out why, and it seems like that's true even for wired
-
(I only connect iot devices to the 2.4 network, and they don't need much speed to work, so I didn't bother doing testing
-
I bought this router for the fast speed and the large ram; I don't have any wifi 6 devices yet
-
; I'm almost more annoyed with this product than I was frustrated with slow WiFi speeds previously
-
The speed is great and it works perfectly
-
The speed is great and it works perfectly

++Our 3800 sqft two story house needed 3 Orbi Mesh system or 3 Eero Pro system to cover end to end with adequate speed
-
and I thought that the coverage will be Great, ALAS, it was not, my previous ASUS RT-AC68R was delivering better speeds, and also BETTER coverage,
-
Super fast wifi speeds and good coverage
-
No issues with the AT&T Gateway, and I've got good wireless speeds in all the spots in the house that used to have issues - around 250 Mbs with sub-20ms latency using the Ookla speediest app on my iPhone
-
There is a pretty decent speed loss at the fringes of wireless coverage though.
-
ready - my next mobile device will use wifi 6.- Incredible wifi speed and coverage
-
I set one as a router I put one in a node and got great speeds and
-
Home business web portal and VPN attributes along with high speed wireless studio connectivity are a few of the outstanding features that provide worry-free high speed internal and external connectivity.
-
So, if you enable the Mesh system in any way, at least on the most recent firmware, you cannot get the full ax speeds
-
Doubled my speed and improved our throughput.
-
(It is not the service provider, the modem is outputting the correct speeds)
-
The weird thing is that LAN traffic still moves at AX speeds between my Unraid server and laptop.
-
I get great speeds on WiFi as long as I'm in the same room
-
If you want the fastest mesh speeds with this router you will want to use ethernet for backhaul
-
Wifi 6, full coverage, insane speeds, great ping, great overall latency and access times, plus lifetime virus protection built into the router
-
WiFi coverage is great speed is as advertised

Excellent speeds
-
I think ASUS should make default setup so network stability is the highest priority then let user play around to get more optimized, faster speed.+-+-+- AiMesh Forced Dual Band +-+-+-In tri-band systems, AiMesh uses second 5GHz band for dedicated Wireless back-haul
-
Home business web portal and VPN attributes along with high speed wireless studio connectivity are a few of the outstanding features that provide worry-free high speed internal and external connectivity.

-
These things provide signal all over my property and even all the way to the back of my back yard, full signal and full speed- great to not have to rely on my cellular data plan while out with the dogs all the way back in the yard
-
The speed of ax devices was excellent
-
I coupled it with a high end Netgear modem and experience over the top speed and coverage.
-
So to me it makes sense to combine the 2 lower bands and use that for iot devices (thermostats, nest/echo hubs, smart lights, tvs, etc) and then have user devices use their own dedicated band capable of the fastest speeds
-
Higher the number of the channel the faster the Wi-Fi speed, but this will only be noticed for in home networking like connecting to a NAS
-
After installing a WiFi 6 adaptar on my pc, I really noticed the amazing speeds this router es capable of
-
yr old wifi Netgear router in place instead and now the connection and wifi is solid but with slower speed
