Reviews around adapter (5.00 of 5)

  • I contacted ASUS and after 3 weeks of looking into the problem, they basically gave up and said that the Vive Wireless Adapter is not compatible with this motherboard.
  • Keep in mind that I have tested the Vive Wireless Adapter in another machine and it works fine in that one.
  • After much troubleshooting and configuration, I am unable to get the Vive Wireless Adapter to work with this motherboard.

Reviews around color (5.00 of 5)

  • The subtle rgb was also a big plus, as I dont like unicorn puke builds, and much rather prefer my lighting to be one solid color or multiple if I feel like doing a theme
  • Love the features the design the gray and black color and the rgb lights

  • If you have a solid case, or don't care about aesthetics, go for it.
  • Also wish there were some more 90 degree cables to clean up the case a

Reviews around light (4.16 of 5)

  • Love the features the design the gray and black color and the rgb lights
  • Some fancy lighting onboard that has nothing to do with performance and more you can order and add
  • But this time, no led lights indicating any failures on RAM, GPU, CPU or anything

Reviews around bios (4.10 of 5)

  • BIOS is as easy to use as everyone says and was easy to get everything setup.
  • The BIOS is very straightforward and simple to navigate and use (and supports mouse input)
  • Bios works well but interface is a mess and finding settings is difficult
  • Checked BIOS and the on board video cannot be disabled.
  • Especially great for beginners as the manual does a great job walking you through the build and the BIOS is user-friendly as well

Reviews around build (3.68 of 5)

  • The board has great thermals and the VRMs are solid, the built in wifi is incredible, my old Aorus board couldn't get above
  • Therefore there is no way to stop the RGBs on the board from cycling rainbow, which is super frustrating when I've worked very hard for a clean black and white build.
  • Makes the build look super clean.
  • Cheap build quality
  • I really enjoyed building on this Motherboard despite my shortcomings

Reviews around motherboard (3.66 of 5)

  • I love this motherboard.
  • But everything with the motherboard worked great, but what am I going to do without WiFi
  • This Motherboard was easy to install for a fist time user like my self and it works great
  • But if that's the case, then why buy this board and not something considerably cheaper right? This motherboard is marketed towards HEDT enthusiasts yet ASUS pulled a fast one on everyone by claiming it's 8 VRM when in fact it's 4 x 2
  • After using Linux Mint 19.1 for about 1-1/2 months I find that this so far is a real good motherboard and with the i5 intel processor it is one very fast motherboard and would be good for gaming.

  • This board even with the distance and walls between me and my router can get over 535mb/s steady
  • Yeah i recommend this mb.
  • so this was more than I needed but unlike ASRock this MB works out of the box.
  • That MB did not work
