Everyone on the overclock forums are happy with theirs and most of them came from the PG279Q. Acer has much better quality control on their version of this Asus monitor

I will not recommend this purchase to ANYONE after the double whammy of poor quality with both the product and Amazons customer support (which is usually good).I see the comments from ASUS on pretty much everyones review (including mine) saying that we probably just needed to "calibrate" the bleed away

Amazing quality monitor

Reality is much different and the top quality samples sent to reviewers to base their "glowing" reviews on simply don't seem to be common for those of us actually shelling out the cash to buy one

You can see the potential in this monitor the moment you turn it on and play your favorite game though, it's just unfortunate that Asus can't really nail these issues because this would be, without a doubt, the best monitor as far as performance and picture quality
