The atrocious backlight bleed coupled with the vertical line overlay on the edge of the display really shouldn't have to be dealt with after spending close to $800

I tested the monitor for any dead pixels or back light bleeding and I couldn't see any problems.

However on my shipment the backlight bleed was unacceptable

No backlight bleed at all and only two black pixels near the bottom of the screen, they're hard to notice so its not a problem.

As a side note: I already had an IPS panel, and this was not at all IPS glow, it was over-the-top backlight bleed.

Well because of the IPS glow/LED bleeding, it's extremely annoying especially because it's mainly just on the bottom right area of the screen

Unfortunately, mine has a dead pixel directly in the center of the panel and the IPS bleed on this thing is bad

I went through two other less expensive models of curved monitors from separate manufactures, experiencing backlight bleed issues for the most part; the one monitor I tried that was actually backlight bleed free had an issue with darks and shadows

My main concerns with when I purchased were dead pixels and back light bleeding

It is true that this bleed becomes difficult if not impossible to notice during gaming but the minute you crank up a movie (especially one with black bars), wham, there's the bleed.
