I purchased this monitor for my new pc, wanting an excellent viewing experience, but I was trepidatious because of the notable QC issues that have been persistent for years with this particular monitor
-
.. let me add a perspective, without discounting actual QC issues
-
I read and read about monitors before finally deciding on this monitor despite people reporting major QC issues.
-
I had no QC issues, at least for now
-
Was hoping the QC issues would be resolved by now given over a year since item is out
-
Okay now that I am done with the negatives on the QC issues I will go over all the nice features this monitor has to over
-
Assuming of course that ASUS can solve the QC issues that they seem to be having, this is the new flagship gaming monitor
-
I say "unfortunately" because if you spend a hot second reading reviews online, you'll see a ton of comments about QC issues
-
If you want one of these I would wait until all the QC issues are fixed
-
The top of the line IPS panel that ASUS is charging for should not have all the QC issues this thing has

A few cons are the colors (which is an expected trade off) and a minor qc issue.
-
Even though this monitor has some major QC issues it took my a good 30 minutes of mulling it over to decide on RMAing because of how good it really is.
-
Aside from the QC issue, I'd give this an easy five stars.
-
lying).Minus any QC issues, the ASUS PG279Q, on the other hand, is a revelation (especially when using G-Sync at 144hz or 165hz) and works very well for video/graphic editing as well (which I do on the side)
-
There have been many mixed reviews stemming from QC issues, but ASUS has posted that they have improved their process
-
Monitor is fantastic jack of all trades panel but the QC issues are still somewhat present
-
I've returned all 3 because of qc issues
-
i guess they already fix the QC issue on this item.
-
just coming late into the game where most of the QC issues other reviewers have been given have been resolved
-
This is the same price as a 55" TV from Samsung which I almost guarantee won't have the same qc issues
-
At least now it would seem the QC issues with the PG279Q's are solved, and although not the latest generation of monitor, these are really a wonderful product.
-
No QC issues to be found.

-
Don't think the new patch has fixed the QC issue
-
These monitors panels are notorious for their QC issues
-
I'm glad I stick with what I k pw and trust in Asus
-
I still have to wait for this thing to warm up as I just got it about an hour ago, so we'll see if I have to update this review if my third unit starts bleeding.

Great monitor no defects like dead pixels or bad back light bleed in the one I

Don't let the E-sports endorsements fool you, this is a poorly made product.
