However, the quality of this machine, its durability and trouble-free performance over this many years will probably take me back to ASUS for my next computer

It has just enough space for my needs, doesn't lag, and has a nice display
TIME IT HAD 207GB FREE SPACE IN THE SSD-The keyboard back light could be more properly adjusted

She likes it (bought it as a gift), and came at a great price for the specs
For a reasonable price, you are getting a 256 ssd, ips display and a modern Core I5-8th gen processor (which is now a quad core).
I recommend this laptop if you're looking for something more involved for a good price.

There have only been two failures on this laptop, the need to replace the hard drive about three years ago and the dying of the battery about one year ago, neither problem particularly remarkable for the machine's age
