Like many ASUS products this display is wrapped in a glossy black plastic which looks and feels cheap and attracts hard to clean smudges and impossible to buff scratches

Nice display, ordered it for my boss.

If you're buying this specifically because you don't want a glossy screen you might want to order some gaffer's tape to cover the bezel while you're at it, and some kind of ballast or bracket to stabilize the display - the provided base is quite wobbly and just typing on a keyboard on the same desk was enough to make it shake until I stabilized it with a stack of paperbacks.

The display is satisfactory, however, I'm having pixels go out left and right with minimal usage and just days after setting up.

In the case of the ASUS 248H-P, the goods had a significant majority (the price played a part as well) so I decided to go for it

The Asus VS239H-P worked out fine for me.

these are about as close to perfect as you can get at this price point.

Eventually, I decided to relocate the PS4 and use a shorter HDMI cable, and everything works as it should, including full RGB output and HDCP enabled.

This Asus monitor does not even work as it is supposed to and I feel cheated out of $160.
