This thing looks amazing and beautiful which is different from traditional spider routers, I get excellent coverage throughout my house which is above my expectation, the signal is very stable and throughput is much better than my previous router, the setup is very easy via Asus router app, it just take me around 3mins to finish the setup, it works great, I am very pleased to have this gorgeous unit, highly recommend to get one.

I had an old cisco E3000 that I replaced due to poor wireless coverage in my house and while the ASUS was out for repairs, I had no issues at all, other than weak wifi signals in some points in my house.

This thing has amazing coverage and I can stay on my 5ghz band everywhere in my apartment (not huge to can't speak to giant houses)

The speeds are as fast as my internet will run, along with as fast as my NAS will run, all over the AC band.

they could not make it work even though their merchant site not only says it will work as an AI MESH Node but has instructions on how to make that work

Sections of the house that previously had, at best, a mediocre 2.4 G signal with the last router now have full bars at 5G.

I went from "poor" or "extremely poor" 5G signal 30' using my old router to a "good" to "very good" signal from the ASUS (using the WiFi signal app for measurement.)

Unreliable, 5G usually doesn't work, frequent resets, regular reboots required.

The 5G also never worked

Range is wonderful in both the 2g and 5g

This router broadcasts a strong 5G signal and is much faster than the modem/router combination that preceded it

The only downside is the 5g has very limited ranged but the 2.4g actually has great range even works out side the house.
