Works fine as a router but it will not recognize my external hard drive via the USB port.

The ability to plug in my WD Passport external hard drive means I can watch saved movies any where in the house

I have had various other problems with other hardware purchased for computers; some faulty hard drives, ram and motherboards from other companies, and in every other situation the RMA has been handled after working replacements have arrived at my door step

The router menus are not very user friendly, but after setting up external hard drives connected to this thing, it performs very well

I bought a 3TB USB hard drive and plugged it into the router, now I have a shared files folder for anyone in the house to use

Now I can plug in a hard drive and stream all my videos to any device

So if you purchase do so with caution, cause you might find your signal gone or wonder where your hard drive run off too

This is the most expensive router I’ve purchased, and I’m moving on from a misbehaving D-Link DIR-860L which, to it’s credit, lasted for a few years.

Bought this to replace a garbage D-Link that was disconnecting randomly.
