ASUS Whole Home Dual-Band AiMesh Router (AC1900) for Mesh Wifi System (Up to 1900 Mbps) - AiProtection Network Security by Trend Micro, Adaptive QoS & Parental Control (RT-AC68U)

    • Bottom line, this router may not work with some network cards, especially the Reaktek GBE or FE family of cards
    • best bet is to hard-line an e-thernet cable to everything on a trust worthy router, and treat Wi-Fi like a side dish to your household.*review*On paper this product looks like it has the works, and it probably does
    • My latest issue is I have no internet connection via the router at all so now have to use the hard line until a level 2 tech calls me as they can't figure it out
    • Bottom line: if I want to use the "DLNA Media Server" feature of my ASUS router I need to disable the Gateway/Router/WAP functionality on my modem and use my ASUS router as my primary router (in "Wireless router mode") for my entire network.
    • I was informed that while their motherboard department was afforded the luxury of sending working replacements before receiving the defective product, that an arbitrary line in the sand had been drawn and on this side there was nothing to be done
