Minimalistic shelves only support DVDs if you're careful to shelve each one properly-

The shelves however themselves aren't shelves, it's just like, 2 bars pretty much, so they sometimes sit in the hole on the shelf layer rather than the shelf itself

I would definitely recommend this product for its secure shelving.
