I thought when the information stated grey it was a light grey not a dark grey

These are a very dark grey (almost black) in color and look very good.

The only very disappointing thing is that one of the speaker base has a slightly different shade of dark grey

Color is dark grey, and didn't match my speakers perfectly, but for the price, I reccomend these stands.

Picture shows a silver color, actual stands are black/dark grey
