Stands are a good price but they do not fit my Yamaha surround sound speakers.

If it were a bit shorter (height wise) you could slip it under most couches and really get the stands out of the way

Pros - The stands are sturdy and the height is adjustable

These stands are the perfect addition to my surround sound unit, positioning the speakers at the right height and allowing me to position them correctly.

ths sound is coming from outside in the street, the speakers are at optimal height for surround sound listening and I have to thank these stands for that, the base is heavy enough to keep the speakers from tipping over easily and there is enough mounting hardware for almost any type of small surround sound speakers

Many people would be surprised at how much better their sound is when the speakers are at the right height and positioned properly for the room's/setup's accoustics.

I got 2 pairs of these for the price of the cheapest stand at Best Buy.

These stands are probably half the price of stands that you would buy in a place like Circuit City or Best Buy.

the mounts worked with my Panasonic system speakers - so the stands are definitely universal.

The triangular shaped base works well with most floor surfaces and the hollow tube construction assists in controlling that mess of wires leading from the receiver.

Just be prepared to have a drill and do some handy work.

I'm happy to say the base is weighted well enough that there have been no problems at all so far.

On 1 stand of each set, the threading was inadequate to support the weight of the pole

The weighting is also very good but one of the base-to-shaft joints was mis-sized.

Color is dark grey, and didn't match my speakers perfectly, but for the price, I reccomend these stands.

ALSO, these stands are not shiny silver but dark grey, which I like because they don't call a lot of attention to themselves
