To me, it seems that beyond the stoppers improper size, them being cut in half makes the job way more difficult, as they continually slip apart while you are forcing one half into the column (which, again, needs to be machined about 2mm wider to more easily accept the stopper — or the stoppers need to be machined about 2mm smaller).After about an hour, I completed the assembly and placed my Audioengine 2+ powered speakers atop the stands on either side of my 2 computer monitors — which positions them (using foam speaker cushion wedges) at a perfect height, angle and distance from my ears while I work

These were easy to put together and are the perfect height for my Behringer Truth monitor speakers.

I am using one of these as a center channel speaker stand which sits under my projector and it is the perfect height.

Right height 12 1/2" and the right "look"

Not a stylish or finished look, too "industrial."

The one negative is that I wish you could run your speaker wire up through the base and through the leg to truly create a clean look.

In the end I figured out how to put the stand together, but would caution those who are not handy or easily get frustrated to purchase a better quality product

If I had it to do over again I would first go to my local hardware and replace the screws with ones of better quality.

My final assessment of these speaker stands is that once all of the parts are forced together with a good bit of frustration, the stands are seemingly sturdy and are good for small desktop computer speakers to position them for ideal listening placement

Simple design that improves the placement of a bookshelf speaker.

First, the screws that attach the top panel to the legs miss being flush by 2mm

as a result, there were unnecessary holes punched in both the top and bottom panels

Also should add two more columns to make the whole unit more stable especially when using with a tall speaker.

Both stands lean about 1% using the level on my iphone.

The one stand that was able to assemble seems like it will do the job.

That said, once I got the pieces jammed together, the stands are doing the job well.

heavy metal built good for sturdy stand especially for carpets, a little assembly required

My final assessment of these speaker stands is that once all of the parts are forced together with a good bit of frustration, the stands are seemingly sturdy and are good for small desktop computer speakers to position them for ideal listening placement

The stands are heaping piles of garbage and fail at literally every single point in even attempting to complete their responsibilities

They're not the most sturdy stands, but since they're on the back of my desk in a protected space I'm not worried

If none of that concerns you, the stands are sturdy and functional for the price.

They are not the same as the instructions for the to support product, however I was able to piece together what would be the two support version and assemble the product

The product works as advertised but the instructions included with this were for a different product and, thus, useless.
