For the relatively low price, you really can't go wrong with these stands for a basic home theater system with compact speakers.

I'm just mad that they didn't work right with my two small satellite speakers, my front left and right speakers wouldn't have even come close to working

The base is heavy enough to keep the stand stable on carpet with my smallish satellite speakers.

For budget home theater builders these speakers stands just plain work, and that meets all of my requirements.

The 'wire loop' included with the stands to secure the speakers with are right in the way, and won't allow for a non-shorting connection when trying to use the plugs

But you might need to go to the hardware store to buy screws and matching nuts to properly secure the speakers to the stand platforms.

Over time, the supplied double stick foam may lose adhesiveness but the speaker platform support has four pre-drilled screw holes if one wants to firmly secure the speaker

The screws that came with it were too long to properly secure the speakers to the back of the stand and it required a trip to the hardware store buy some shorter ones

When I tried the adhesive strips for a small set of speakers, the speakers came loose after a few minutes and fell on the floor, damaging one of them.
