The loading hole on the bottom of the post where it attaches to the base is slightly larger than the top hole where the speaker plate attaches, so I suggest you fill from the bottom

The bottom and top plate do not align, meaning the top plate is twisted compared to the base, this is no big deal as you won't see this once you have a pair of speakers placed on top
