I would definitely recommend this honing tool to sharpen your planer blade!

This is a great tool, but remember you still need to set the proper angle for whatever you are sharpening.

I like the tool for the plane blade but harder with chisels for the blade to sit flat in the tool

A joy to use a well made tool!

I liked the concept and the tool, but the slot for holding the edges of a chisel did not really fit well and it was a little difficult to get the chisel set up in the right spot to tighten especially on the larger thicker shank chisels.

Tool works great and really like the fact that they care about customer satisfaction.

Very convenient This tool just adjust the angle of the blade on the sharpening and also comfortable for the hand You do not have to make sure the sharpening angle is very impressive.

I assume that this issue will be minimized when just touching up mostly sharp tools, due to fewer passes and less sludge created on the stone
