Reviews around gaming (5.00 of 5)

  • If you want one of the best if not the best gaming headsets available and don't mind the price I say give these a try as you won't be disappointed.
  • Overall, this is probably the best sounding gaming headset on the market, but just not worth it for the price tag.
  • , I cant believe these would be better for gaming but I gave up competitive gaming a couple years back

Reviews around use (5.00 of 5)

  • After having experienced many other gaming headsets, ranging from Astro A40/50, SteelSeries H Wireless, and Turtle Beach Elite 800; I would have to say that these are the cleanest sounding headphones I've used
  • Upon first use they sounded amazing, I was impressed....that is, until the right ear lost sound after a few weeks
  • I will say that these are the best headphones i have ever used
  • They are the best headphones he's used since the last audio-technicas he had

Reviews around technica (5.00 of 5)

  • I love this headset, I really do, just really disappointed, especially since I really love audio technica.
  • If you want the best audio buy a headset and Mic separate (for instance the M50 lol).It almost feels like Audio-Technica thought it was time to grab some cash from gamers and reduce the value proposition
  • It almost feels like Audio-Technica took everything that was great from the M50 and replaced it with a shittier version and then doubled the price tag

Reviews around sound (4.07 of 5)

  • The sound is amazing and the open version of these are great if you don't want your ears sweating
  • Tried using my motherboard and my soundcard and it still had that annoying rattling sound on the right ear
  • Pros: Great open air sound, good quality mic, comes with splitter cord
  • Audio Technica always has some of the best quality sound
  • I prefer the sound of the MMX300s but these do sound great

Reviews around ear (3.95 of 5)

  • The earpads are also very nice as they are suede like and keep your ears cool while playing
  • Your ears would be hurt after long time use.
  • Tried using my motherboard and my soundcard and it still had that annoying rattling sound on the right ear
  • They are extremely comfortable and I could wear them all day without my ears getting hot.
  • Other headsets I have used in the past hurt my ears after 2-3 hours, these I have worn for over 8 hours and it feels like I have only worn them for 1.No problems with the mic or the mute switch and everyone I have asked

Reviews around pair (3.95 of 5)

  • You're better off buying a nice pair of high quality audiophile grade headphones and a Mod-Mic
  • So what I'm geting at save your money if your on a console basically anything will work well paired with the Astro mix amp
  • Just get any pair of headphones or a headset and it will work very good
  • Now I'm not sure if I just had a defective pair, but there was an annoying rattling sound that would come and go when listening to music or some moments in games
  • I think money is better spent buying a nice pair of audio headphones and adding a mic to make the a "gamer" set.

Reviews around headphone (3.92 of 5)

  • Overall, I would definitely recommend these headphones over the other gaming headsets
  • The M50 and M50x from Audio-Technica are great headphones for a great value
  • These headphones weren't very comfortable anyway, so I returned them for a refund.
  • They are the best headphones he's used since the last audio-technicas he had
  • I have tried almost every other headphone in this price bracket (and most other brackets - kinda picky), and this one is fantastic

Reviews around mic (3.61 of 5)

  • It's basically the same thing, but you're paying less and a better quality mic.
  • My only complaint is the mic.
  • Mic is great and does not have to be close to your mouth in order for people to hear you.
  • Additionally you have such a poor mic that it makes you wonder how the idea to attach one to such a good sounding headphones but then forgot that the mic should also be good
  • Although I crap over everything else, the mic is one of the better ones I have heard, although If your doing anything more than just gaming I would still go for a stand alone

Reviews around headband (1.00 of 5)

  • I have a pretty average head, but I have a hard time imagining these staying put on any head size just because of the weird split-headband design they decided to go with
  • They have a weird, and nonadjustable, split headband that feels like it's floating on your head.
