I also tried other closed Sennheisers as well as the Bose AR at this price range and the Bose had too much bass and not enough balance for me.

They sound well balanced to me

The big pro is these do bass and mids and even some decent treble for a very good balanced set of headphones that are my daily pair.

and i just simply can't take these off, you get a nice genuine balanced sound
