In general they sound spectacular, but squeaking (chicharrean en español no se como traducirlo) with certain sounds (some voices and things like that), I do not know if it is because they are like that or because they are refurbished
After reading endless reviews on the audia techs i decided to give them a shot because they are only 140$.Im do glad i did because these things sound sweet
I think I checked Cnet, then Amazon, and the headphone nerds seemed to love these things.
They do not offer the same flatness that an open back headset would offer, but for the price these things are wonderful
One great thing over the M50 model is that the M50X has detachable cords, so you don't have to go to the back of the computer and unplug the cord if you want to take the headphones with you
Good while they lasted right head phone went out randomly.
I compared so many so many headphones and did so many reviews on this and every year the M50X is rated one of the best head phones

I figured I would need an amp to adequately power the headphones, seeing how the sound source (my phone) was not capable of putting out a sufficient amount of power or whatever
No better phones available for the money , u won't regret buying these...
What you do get is well balanced sound and clarity which you'll hear sometimes that instrument/vocal you haven't heard before on your computer speakers, which is awesome.
They were affordable and provide a flat, yet well balance sound

I also tried other closed Sennheisers as well as the Bose AR at this price range and the Bose had too much bass and not enough balance for me.
I also like the detachable cords which would allow me to leave one cord bonded to an antlion mic for gaming and a second cord for general use elsewhere.
This just makes finding a cord with microphone that much more difficult

This is my first semi-expensive pair of headphones, and save for the falling out I would almost rather use the earbuds that came with my phone instead.
Oh Pro Tip: if you use them to block out sound (as passive noise isolation headphones) you should still be able to catch someone calling you if you keep the music on the low side
