    Audio-Technica ATR2100-USB Cardioid Dynamic USB/XLR Microphone

    • Bottom line, the versatility of this mic makes for a great recording experience, I haven't, and won't, attempt singing voice or instruments, but ambient noise and talking voice have been stellar
    • The ATR-2100 being a dynamic microphone means that it doesn't require 48V phantom power and it's less sensitive to ambient noise
    • Started recording a podcast with this microphone, and our team was quite happy with the sound quality and the lack of ambient noise being recorded
    • I don't have full control over my ambient noise because I have close neighbors with kids.
